Winners will be announced in January and recognized at the Annual Conference in March.
Each year, the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports recognizes Vermont employers which promote a work environment that encourages and enables employees to improve their overall health.
Vermont worksites of all sizes are encouraged to apply. Winners will be recognized at the 2013 Annual Worksite Wellness Conference, March 27, 2013, in Burlington, VT.
Results from the 2011 Wellness Awards:
The awards were given in groupings based on the number of employees at each worksite, so that smaller companies did not compete against larger ones. In each size category, several levels of awards were given: Gold Standard for past Gold recipients, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Other applicants receive recognition. Recipients follow:
